Privacy Policy

1Who this covers

This policy applies to Nyro (“the bot”, “we”) when it is used inside a Discord server that has added it. The staff of each Discord server decide how the bot's features are used on their server.

2Information we collect

We only store what the features need:

• Discord identifiers — your Discord user ID (and, for actions, related server, channel and role IDs).
• Roblox account — only if you choose to verify: your Roblox user ID, username and display name.
• The link between your Discord and Roblox accounts, per server.
• Moderation records created by server staff: warnings, mutes, bans, kicks, notes, tickets and their timestamps.
• Minimal operational data needed to run reliably and prevent abuse.

3Information we do NOT collect

• Passwords or Roblox login credentials — you log in on Roblox, never with us.
• OAuth access tokens — used once during login and then discarded, never stored.
• Payment or financial information.
• The content of your private messages.

4Roblox sign-in (OAuth)

Verification uses Roblox's official OAuth 2.0 login with the scopes openid and profile. That lets us read only your Roblox user ID and username to create the link. Nyro never posts, changes anything, or acts on your Roblox account, and never sees your Roblox password.

5How we use information

• To verify you and assign the correct roles.
• To connect in-game (Roblox) moderation with your Discord server and vice-versa.
• To keep moderation records so staff can do their job fairly.
• To operate, secure and improve the bot.

We never sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

6Sharing & third parties

Data is processed by the platforms required to run the service: Discord (where the bot operates), Roblox (for login and public account data) and our hosting provider (which stores the bot's data on our behalf). We may disclose information if required by law. We do not share it with anyone else.

7Data retention

Your account link and records are kept while your account stays linked and the server keeps using the bot. They are removed when you unlink your account, when staff delete the record, or on request (see below).

8Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect stored data. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we keep what we store minimal and access limited.

9Children's privacy

Nyro is used through Discord and Roblox and follows their minimum-age requirements. It is not directed at children below the age those platforms allow.

10Your rights & choices

You are in control of the link:

• Unlink — ask the server's staff to remove your link at any time.
• Deletion — request that your stored link and records be deleted.
• Access — ask staff what is stored about you on their server.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the bot evolves. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version; significant changes may be announced in the servers using the bot.
